the ots-38 silent revolver: produced for special purpose law enforcement, it’s designed to fire a very unusual round that doesn’t let gasses escape when fired, instead using the gasses to extend a piston that catapults the round out of the cartridge. this makes it almost entirely silent and produces no flash at all. the cylinder pivots out by a joint near the front of the revolver. another unusual feature is that it actually fires from the bottom of the cylinder. what appears to be the barrel in these pictures is actually an integral laser sight
