‘Hideaway’
–
My contribution to the inaugural group show at Haven Gallery in Northport, NY. The show starts on 15th August and features works from a great lineup of artists including: Matt Dangler, menton3,
Kari-lise Alexander, Nicomi Nix Turner, Dan Quintana, Shaun Berke, Tom
Bagshaw, Naoto Hattori, Zoe Byland, Brian Mashburn, Regan Rosburg, Aunia
Kahn, Caitlin McCormack, Rose Freymuth-Frazier, Redd Walitzki and Nom
Kinnear King.

“The Haven Inaugural
Group Show features the work of 16 representational artists exploring
the concept of “haven”. The exhibition engages a myriad of styles,
mediums and techniques by artists from around the globe and examine
significant personal tales and universal tenets.

Artists will
work with the concept of haven and explore the physical, emotional or
spiritual place in which solace is found. Such sanctuaries can be found
in a place, person, feeling, memory or something entirely abstracted or
amorphous.“
